I think it stinks that the Bergeron line is broken up bc the Bruins can't get a top 6 player and we're forced into the never ending musical chairs of line shifts. Stale strategy

Sure, but that's a different topic. What are your thoughts on the second line now, as constituted with DK and Pasta and PC/JDB rotating through? Has it been good, bad, indifferent over the last 3 games, in your opinion?

I love to hammer on DK, been a pastime of mine for a long time here and while there are still games where it`s tough to see if he`s dressed, I`ve got little to complain about with his overall game this year especially with the rotating doors of wingers outside of Jake who himself hasn`t been playing well in recent weeks

Nothing special nothing horrible to speak of. I just hope they get something figured out before the playoffs. I commend krejci for his patience and effort this year. Making the most out of a no strategy situation. Just my take

I think they have a plan to try and get that winger,it`s hardly a secret, but I think that 30 other GM`s know that`s the plan and no GM does another a favor in this league, easier said than done

Think I read someone say offseason was the time to get that done instead of the trade deadline where they'll pay through the roof

for me it`s not just as simple as paying a ton, it`s about giving the player acquired more time to assimilate to his new team

Had a good game last night. Hopefully he gets motivated by Pasta's absence and ups his compete level going forward like it was last night.

I've been hard on him.

But he's been going strong for awhile now IMO. He's quietly on pace for 66 pts this season. And his play has been vintage.

Its great to see. Hope he continues it for sure.

has a very good and accurate shot, let`s see him use it more down the stretch

Said he needed to shot more 2 weeks ago, and again earlier this season. Not shooting often enough makes him far too predictable and easily defended.

exactly, while he doesn`t have a howitzer, it`s very accurate and when he`s not shooting, it`s one less thing the opponents need to worry about with him. DK`s having a very good year, far more engaged consistently, not much fun as I just can`t hammer him for anything so far this year:laugh:

His skill set and vision are amazing. Montreal radio played all his highlights this morning. Needs more PP time and Panarin so this team can win in April. All cup team need 2 elite centers and Boston has that luxury.

This is the one thing that has always driven me crazy about him. I know he's always been & will be a pass first guy but he's got such a good shot he should be using it more if only to keep the opposition on guard

And that pp goal he scored down low last night is nothing new. He’s money in that spot with Bergeron on the other side and that should be the setup even with Pastrnak healthy. Krejci needs to be on the 5 on 3.

I wouldn’t trade Krejci to sign Duchene. You get a whopping 4 years younger while trading a player that’s been part of the core over 10 years. I don’t put as much stock in the Duchene is a locker room cancer as some, but when you talk about replacing Krejci with a guy like that it makes you wonder.

maybe, maybe not on Duchene being a cancer.

but when the team you leave immediately gets good and the team you join immediately gets worse its raises eyebrows.

also, Krejci is quietly at 0.87 ppg...his 3rd best of his career.

MVP of the team, no Bergeron for a month no Pasta. No problem with 46

Nah. Marchand is and will continue to be the straw that stirs the drink for this team, and nobody is even close enough to challenge him for that role.

DK is vital to them going anywhere in the playoffs though because it always comes down to secondary scoring in the second season.
