Agreed. He was brought here to play wing for DK. That simply didn't work, so Backes has been up and down the lineup ever since.
Backes was literally told he was going to be the 3rd line center when they signed him, so how do you figure he was brought here for the express purpose of being Krejci's RW? It's more like he was brought here to play center, Claude quickly realized he didn't have the skating to play his system and they put him on Krejci's wing as plan B.

Where did he play most of the time when he was first playing here? He never played a single game at center. He played on wing. He was brought here and the Bruins said he was going to play where ever they needed him, while he was saying he was here to play center. Since he never played at center, I think it's obvious what they wanted him for.

Last night was another example of not-worth-the-price Krejci. I didn't see him win one puck battle on the boards and after losing trailed the play by the length of the blue to the red line. He needs to go period. I think its time to accept him sitting in the skybox and then buying out his contract.

Which game did you tune into?

Krejci, 7 million a year...minus -1. 24 shifts 19.23 ice time. and 1.58 powerplay. ONE SHOT ON GOAL!!!! Nuff said.

Wagner had 5 shots on goal. Stop the madness.

Krejci has never been a goal scorer or a volume shooter. The line as a whole played quite well. That minus one came in OT where he wasn't even remotely at fault.

Coming in here making up shit under hyperbole and thinking Krejci is somehow the worst player on the roster. Ignorance or just stupidity. Pick whichever one leaves you least offended.

Lol at the Hate. Krejci will stillput up 50 points, win more faceoffs then he looses and be a plus 10 by the end of the year. This guy is a two way centre with playmaking abilities. He is never a liability even when he doesn’t produce. There was only one free agent on the market in the off-season that was better than Krejci bruins lost the bid on him.

This team would be worse without Krecji not better.

Thought he's played much better last 2 games. Not getting the Krecji hate. Responsible player and good at F/O.

Krejci is 4th among forwards with 6 points in 8 games. The next highest forward? A myriad sitting at 2 points. But Krejci is the issue. Post your quit little pictures and spout your nonsense, but all you do is dig the hole deeper as you look more and more like the fool.

It must be rough watching the Bruins and having to root against the 2nd line every game. That cant be fun for anyone

"root" More like an unbroken chain or sighs and forehead slaps as Krejci losses puck possession again and again and again...

I actually think Krejci has looked better and better every game. I think he's adjusting to having to drive the line and do more of the dirty work because the kids aren't quite there yet. I thought he was one of The Bruins best players during this road trip.

When he was on the ice at even strength they had 14 shot attempts for and 8 against. not sure how that happens when your line can't maintain possession.

Just look at last year. He looked slow early up until around the trade deadline, then he really picked up his play and made Nash and Donato look good. I think he’ll slowly keep getting better as the season goes on, nothing new.

At this point in his career Krejci need big foreching puck retrieving winger to go with him and JD74.

Bruins seem to only be interested in smaller players right now...

He's had two good games back-to-back. I hope it is a sign that he is getting his game geared up for the next 70 or so.
