Realistically, we don't need to fire Cameron. Teams with specific problems they want to solve bring in specialist consultants all the time. We could just create a temporary PP-consultant role, have a guy come and work on it for a few weeks, then have Cameron coach that system from there on.

And what happens if it goes stale again. This coaching staff has proven they have a hard time adapting to change, and as teams figure out the system they figure out how to stop the PP. So what just hire another consultant when that happens?

Sure, I don't care. I'm just saying, if the sticking point is that they don't want to make a firing in mid-season, there are other options available to them.

I feel at this point that is just giving the team an excuse to keep him in the mix. With Gelinas in the mix they could let him go and still keep stride. If they don't get the PP going they aren't getting past the first round, even if they make the playoffs.

Yeah, as much as everyone wants Cameron's head on a pike, he's not going anywhere (including away) until at least July.

Might as well try putting someone else in charge - and who knows, maybe they did and we don't know and its just gotten worse? (Wouldn't that be awful?)

Our power play is worse than Arizona's. There is plenty of reason to let him go.
