Virtanen has no hockey sense. I'd be very surprised if he became a top 6 player, although some of his tools are very good.

Maybe.. But hes a real good skillset
Again im not saying he is a future star but i am saying he might be worth taking a chance on . The odd chance he might blossom in boston. Anyhow its passé ..the canucks will not give you JV for a player like Danton

Nice try negative Nellie, but Heinen put up 47 points last season. Guys that can't play don't do that in today's NHL. How many goals would Pasta get with Kuraly and Acciari as his linemates? Not enough that we would say his salary was worth it.

Id prefer being called Reality Check.
So we are on to blaming his linemates .like i said kuraly could say the same but heres the thing. Theres a reason why Jake is on the second line which btw isnt the most difficult feat on this team .....he earned it..
The only other place. danton can be at
Is the AHL.
As far as his great start ...grace period is over he hasnt done squat for almost a year and getting worse.
See Peter muller. Number one pick
Had a good entire first season. Where is he now?

I agree with this, and not sure why? Acciari and Kuraly have been god awful and Backes only marginally better than they are. Heinen has underperformed, but he’s been better than that trio for sure (and Donato/JFK). The only thing I can think of is that Cassidy is harder on him because he knows he’s capable of more and expects more from him than those other guys, based on his play last season?

I'm leaning towards this. Heinen is capable of more than he's shown this season. The effort is there but he's just completely snake bit right now. I just hope his confidence doesn't take too much of a hit.

You are calling 3rd round pick Danton Heinen talentless after a 47 point rookie season, and want to replace him with 1st round pick Jake Virtanen who has done jack-all in the NHL, and the Mueller comparison? We'll never know because Peter Mueller was wrecked by concussions before his NHL career could ever get off the ground properly.

First Danton was a fourt rder
Second if he is nothing more then that ...then stop praising and stop trying to be arrogant while doing it. He was glorified here as a top 6 now you can only wish the canucks would give u Jv for Danton. JV has 9 goals Dant 2
Seems like JV may be slowly improving and as for Danton going down. Mueller concussions you think was his reason.
All right lets use an ex bruin
Ken Hodge Jr

Wow, just wow- my love toy  cold dishes, shooting mouths off, fried burns, swallowing defeat- that right there is funny I don't care who you are

Funny.... funny how?
I dont need you to care who i am
Stick to the topic and try being humble about it not jerky or elitist more of your friends way but you agree with it

So let me ask you now. Where do you think Danton will be at the end of this season?

It just amazes me when posters make blanket predictions and statements about players repeatedly, before they have really even seen them play. If they are wrong (about say DeBrusk) they backpedal, or they are quiet (until the player struggles) and then when they get called on it by other posters, they accuse everyone else of needing to be humble.

Never change HF.

What else amazes you?
I was wrong on one Jake but careful
I love the guy but .he is not acant miss.
But he is a good one.
Heinen told you i got a buddy of mine who i cherish his opinions unlike some here lives in Col plus what i had seen of him.
Ive read where you are asking other posters to answer your question yet somehow you feel you dont have to answer.
I also mentioned that a poster recently commented that he felt Lauzon would be a real good Dman ...that after one nhl game. No other posters went all over him for saying thay and why should they?...nothing wrong with that
Its his feeling but the other way is as fair too.
One can argue and with much reaon that all of these talks are trivial and serve for nothing thats why its just talks.
But heres the thing so many of these scouts who spend years evaluating still cant get it right . So many of these gms who seem.to be worshipped only because they have the title have mafe mistakes that are incredibly dumb

How does a player that goes ppg in the AHL playoffs and then has a 47 point rookie season have no talent?

Ken Hodge Jr.
I can go on with tons of players that got more then 47 pts but were. Not considered household names. He did it for less than half a season and that now makes him a talented forward?
A top 6?

So what explains his team leading 9-9-18 in 17 playoff games with Providence? His 47 point rookie season is the best from a Bruins rookie since Samsonov. Was he just riding the coattails of Jordan Swarz and Riley Nash? He outproduced Jake Debrusk in both cases.

Actually, I believe the poster that said that about Lauzon did get some responses.

My issue with you is that a couple of years ago you made a statement about how mediocre the B’s prospects were and how there wasn’t even any NHLers there. This was when there was very little info out there and most hadn’t seen them play much at all. Didn’t stop you from talking shit, particularly about Heinen.

Fast forward to last year and the B’s have 5/6 young draft picks in the lineup and we get crickets from you...and then all of a sudden you are DeBrusk’s biggest fan. This year comes, Heinen struggles and you jump on it as quick as you can to save face.

Maybe if you didn’t run your f***ing pie hole without having a clue about some of these prospects when they weren’t even pros, you wouldn’t have to do all the CYA afterwards?

You calling out GM’s for being incredibly dumb is the ultimate pot calling the kettle black situation. The idea of you being a GM in the NHL has amused me to no end this cold morning

Thank you

I think most fans are unhappy with his production so far this year, but if you watch him play you can see he's not talent-less.

Heinen's had a real rough season, but he isn't "bad" by any means. It's most likely your old school sophomore slump. With the amount of youngins we have, it was expected that at least 1 or 2 would regress. I'm sure Heinen will be a solid defensive middle 6 winger of the future for us and I hope he turns it around sooner than later.

Ill be straight ive given up watching him .It all depends on how you define talent. His main issue and not the only only one is his skating..
How talented is he really? More then Acciari but thats not saying much is it?
Surely not as talented as Jake which some mistakenly he had which is really no big deal..these are forums
Just admit it(not referring to you btw)
And move on .. And try not to get all pompous if a poster posts something that one doesnt agree with

Thank you

Once again you just cant help yourself
Just keep adding fuel..
Not having a clue once again says mr columbo the man with all the clues.
Stop getting personal...you get it.
Stay on subject man..focus.
I know you abhor it but ive been
More right then ive been wrong and i would not be speaking like this but you keep making personal remarks and i need to answer..

Backes and belesky signings.. True great stuff
Nash trade... Great one
D'Anton?

Now can you pls .stay away from personal attacks ...it just rises the elitist personality.

Put all aside for a moment
I am going to ask you again but something tells me you may not answer
Would you now consider a trade
Danton for Virtanen? And where do you feel Danton will be at the end of the seaso

Btw. Having 5 or 6 prospects .in the lineup doesnt automatically constitute that the bruins have a great future or that their drafting is incredible it can also mean that a team is lacking serious depth
