That goal alone, probably got the monkey off of his back and everything now is just to show people why he was drafted. You can see right after that goal, he just looked so comfortable right away.

Sprong is on pace to play about 7 minutes. I wish we gave him that opportunity.

He also is playing with Henrique, the center who's the most natural fit for his style. If only the Pens had tried that for 2 full shifts this season, but after the firat one resulted in a goal, he clearly hadn't EARNED that second full shift.

This shouldn't even have been a discussion. The Pens messed up a golden ticket, a young forward with skill who can play either side comfortably on a CHEAP contract. All because their coach doesn't like certain attitudes. Notice they were shopping Phil as well.

In what context are you talking about, because if Sprong becomes a 20 goal scorer that’s a hell of a lot more valuable then a 4/5 pairing dmen.
