Or not.... he has 31 points in 35 games. 19 of those are at even strength....

We don't solely depend on him scoring goals on that line you know.

Canuck fan here... Sedins have been incredibly underwhelming lately but somehow they still seem to get points. Take that for what its worth

Even Strength Goal?

I think it's pretty common knowledge that the Sedins have lost a step since their prime years. However, they are still very skilled players, and their game obviously works best on the PP.

Daniel is on pace right now for just over 70 points. Regardless of how he gets those points, that's still not bad value at 7 million. It'll be the last 2 years of their contracts where the Sedins really become bad value. Over the next couple of years, I see them devolving into 50ish point one dimensional players.

Vrbata that goal hogger.

Still pretty shocking total. Clearly not as dominant as he once was but still a tremendously gifted scorer.

Since the Keith hit he's basically turned into a poor mans Henrik, doesnt have a shot anymore.

Beniot Pouliot and David Perron have combined for 8 goals total this year (same as Daniel) for a cap hit of $7,812,500.... shouldn't you be more concerned about the Oilers than the Canucks?

I was hoping the twins would sign for 5-6 mil when Gillis did the extension, I'm happy with them now, but i can't say they can keep this pace for the next two years

Not as bad as Patrick Sharp. He makes just under 6 million and he has ONE even strength goal, from what I heard today.

Both the Sedins have regressed since their 112/104 point Art Ross/Hart Trophy years. They were 75-85 point players prior to that and have seem to reverted back to those numbers, which is still very good but not exactly 7 mill worthy considering they're kinda in the downswing in their careers.

A lot worse players in the league to call out other than Sedin.

70+ point pace for a 1st line winger.

Disgusting.

The Canucks organization should be ashamed for keeping this guy around. It sends the wrong message to the fans, to the city and to the other players on the team.

That's not actually right. He has 2 goals at even strength at five on five this year, and three at even strength at 4 on 4 in overtime, which are kind of important goals to leave out.
