Does anyone know roughly what Dan Paille or other 1 round draft picks would be make in his new 3 year deal. Is his contract two way? Just curious because Buffalo didn't try and sign Dennis Wideman and they should have IMO to atleast a minor league contract.

I'm guessing and just guessing he'd be guaranteed $500k with bonuses and probably 2 way because I don't think he'll be in the NHL next season on a full time basis.

They did offer Wideman a contract obviously he was looking for more.

I read somewhere it was a three year deal for a total of $3 million - so probably just a little bit below the rookie cap. Rookie deals are all mandatory two-way deals, so he may earn less than that over the three years if he spends much time in Rochester (which is likely). However, part of it might have come as a signing bonus, so that part would be guaranteed, as he gets that up front (but it would count towards the $3 million).
