Now, a website with the url Alive2017.com has popped into existence, but there is much more to the site than meets the eye.

Users on Reddit and tumblr have decoded a treasure-trove of hidden hints. The landing page is a simple black screen with “ALIVE” written in white text, but zoom in, and a countdown counter appears. Along the “I.” It ends on Oct. 27, 2016, a date labeled as “Wake Date” in the site's metadata. There are also coordinates listed in the story-like code, corresponding to cities Paris, Los Angeles, London, New York, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Ibiza, and Indio.

That among other goodies have superfans super excited for a possible tour announcement on Oct. 27, but right now, the top post on Reddit appears to debunk the whole thing.

It would go along with Alive 1997 and Alive 2007.

Since i've been to Glastonbury and im going again 2017, I love the speculation frenzy prior to the festival :)

Im a regular at the forums they're qouting, efestivals. So they´re 99,9% sure two of the headliners are Radiohead and Stone Roses, but the third "and while we are less certain on the third headlining act, we have had what should be well-sourced information several months ago, that it’s supposedly Daft Punk topping the bill on the Friday."

The site admin wrote this about Daft Punk today:
"
If the likes of NME was paying better attention, they might have noticed that Daft Punk is still only listed on the rumours page as a simple 'rumour'.

If it were a 'strong rumour' that would be me thinking it was likely to happen, so I'm thinking it's something lesser than 'likely'."

Here´s the entire thread: http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/topic/215123-daft-punk/?page=1

Efestivals is UK's most respected festival community, known for predicting artists well before official announcements.
