No, too many good players. There were others not picked on defense that were much bigger omissions. Maybe he’ll make it next year.

I think he has a good chance, but the 2002-2004 age groups for American defensemen are some of the strongest. I don’t think anyone other than Sanderson or Hughes is a sure thing.

I'd consider Sanderson, Faber, Kleven, Kaiser and Hughes pretty close to sure things with guys like Powell and Moore hovering just below them. Should be a really strong group.
