What the hell? Not even a single regular season game?

Ah, well, looking forward to seeing him don the maple leaf in December.

Coaching staff might've wanted it but not sure management would agree to keep an 18 year old defensen on the roster. Kind of sucks but it didn't come completely out of the blue. Still think he should've been rewarded with at least one regular season game but didn't happen.

3 straight nights with a game (including his last NHL preseason game), and he had points in all 3.

4 points in his first 2 OHL games (1 G, 3 A).

Shouldn't have fallen to 18th, just like Chabot shouldn't have.

Stars are going to have an absurd future D with Heiskanen, Klingberg, Lindell and Harley.

Boy did he take the ball from his strong pre-season with the Stars and take it into the OHL .

8 games 5 goals 10 assists 15 points and got at least a point in every single one of his games . He's easily Missisaugas best player by quite a bit. Just fantasic all around

In the 8 games he played, he accumulated 15 points out 23 goals scored by his team, he was involved in 65% of the goals scored by his team, absurd. Also, meaning, he could have many more points on a better team. I think I had him higher than any list, feeling good about that one. He has the smarts, the size, and the speed, already proven at camp he'll project at the NHL level, looking well for the Stars.

His Steelheads got pounded today 10-3 but he came out with a goal and finished with a +/- rating of +1.

He scored 11 goals in 68 games last year.

He already has 7 in 10 games this season. He also has yet to be held without a point so he's got a 10 game point streak going (17 points total)

He always jumped out to me. A Chabot clone. Only thing " wrong" with him was that he was skinny....I mean, he's a teenager. Pretty easy to fix that.

Wonder if he'll be the best Dman from this draft?

Hope Stars dont rush him, NHL at 20 not less

Take the Alex pietrangelo/ Thomas Chabot devlopement path, skills are evident, let him grow into his body, develop Dzone play

Agreed - seems like the right path for these young dmen. Get their full junior eligibility in, them work their way up once their bodies have matured, gotten stronger, etc. If he needs a year in the AHL, then let him have it. Stars will be rebuilding in a couple of years anyways - they should not be in any rush.

Legitimately pushes for 9 game consideration/a roster spot in September and then cut by team Canada in December? Seems odd.

They really wanted Bahl out there on that big international ice since he is such a fluid and masterful skater.
Tourginay is coaching the D, and Bahl plays for him on the 67's. But, to be honest, Bahl isn't a bad skater. He's competent and shouldn't be exposed even on big ice.

Yeah but he is just on the team because he’s massive. Not that he’s a bad defenseman but Thomas Harley is definitely better. I really thought he had earned a roster spot on Dallas. But, Canada is absolutely stacked at D though with Addison, Smith, Byram, Drysdale, Bernard-Docker, McIssac, and Bahl.
