... To be honest, I don't know him at all. Being sent back to the CHL at the final year of its ELC probably hints at the fact he's bound to the ECHL, with the possible call-up to Hamilton if needed.

He's the older brother of Jacob Gervais-Chouinard who ended the season with the Dogs after stealing games for the poor Sherbrooke Phoenix all season last year.

Joël was very good both ways in the 'Q, but his game didn't translate to the Pros for some reason. He struggled to make the Monsters last season.
