The name of the game for this kid has been “progression” last year around this time, this kid was no bigger than 5’3” - he has come leaps and bounds this season from last. Flawless skater that uses it so damn well to transport the puck up the ice. Great offensive instincts and is so deceptive from the blueline, late birthday too so he has an extra year of progression before his draft season. This kid has some of the highest potential in the draft, he has the kind of game that makes you think “Makar” He is only 5’8” right now, but could still be growing, and his defensive game needs some work (needs to bulk up to clear the front of the net better, tends to jump the gun joining the rush, needs to get better battling for pucks down low) although it has come a long way from last year.
His curve since last year has essentially been straight up. Exiting young defender.
