Bouwmeester waived to CBJ? I though it was pretty clear he wanted to be on a Canadien team

We think we're a playoff team and beyond. With our D and our goaltending, I feel we can compete with any team that comes our way. On offence, we may not have the names that make you eyes light up, but in our top 6, we have 4 players who were top 25 point scorers at their respective positions (Ribeiro, Vrbata, Semin and Prospal), one who was FOURTH in the ENTIRE league in goal scoring at his respective position (Vrbata) and 2 players who are young guns who should progress very nicely and become 50-60 point players (Kreider and Johansen).

Additionally, we have a potential 60 point player on our third line in Huselius and he'll be paired with last season's breakout player Cam Atkinson (Who put up a 43 point pace) and Jarret Stoll, perhaps the best third line centre in the game today.

And we have Carey price. No big deal.

Accept.

Allen has been reppin' Canada hard in net for the Juniors, I'm excited to call this guy up and see what he can do. Forbort is a top 50 prospect, and should be a nice D-replacement in the future, and Niktin is a very underpaid yet good player that can fill the lines nicely for the time being.

GM: Sonny21

The Kings are already the defending Stanley cup champions, we have size, skill, grit, one of the best defenseman in Doughty, a conn smyth winning goalie in Quick. We have also been aggressive and have improved our team significantly as well.

We feel with the following additions that the Kings will stay a powerhouse if not a dynasty for years to come as we still have our core players that won the Stanley cup intact like Quick, Brown, Richards, Doughty, Carter, Kopitar. We have the best depth of any team, our 3rd line is good enough to be a 1st line of several teams.

[FIELDSET="Season Overview"]
I can't say I'm overly satisfied with how things worked out. We didn't really acquire any impact players and missed out big time in the one place we needed to shine the most: free agency. Our team is still very good and should certainly make the playoffs, and while our bottom six and defense are strong, I'm uncertain that our top six will be able to carry us far. We needed at least one big-name player to put us over the top and we didn't get it.

Still, vote :blues

I rushed and regret my last 2 trades but overall feel this is a really deep team that could potentially make some noise in the playoffs. Feedback is encouraged and it was fun negotiating with you guys and good luck to everyone!
