We here in Toronto are excited for the opportunity to play our LONG time rivals the ever-present Montreal Canadiens. They will be a hard challenge but we believe the team we have built has all the ingredients for a solid series.

Our first line could be one of the best in the league, JVR the fast net front power forward, Krejci the slick playmaking center who always seems to lead the playoffs in scoring, and the sniping winger in Phil "The Thrill" Kessel. Hard to contain a line with that much speed, especially in a 7 game series.

Our 2nd line has the savvy veteran in Daniel Alfredsson who still can contribute at 41 years old!! Kadri with another year of improvement and help from a consummate pro like Alfredsson should flourish, and the strong and hard shooting Matt Frattin who has displayed superb chemistry with Kadri can only improve with more ice time.

Our 3rd line has the overly physical Leo Komarov, If you are on the ice he WILL hit you! Bozak as mentioned before can help our team by play a solid 2 way game and winning critical faceoffs. Lastly, Devin Setoguchi, the former 30 goal scorer has had a few less than stellar seasons but his speed will help the forecheck and his knack for playoff scoring may come in handy.

Our 4th line has a solid veteran presence in Winnik, Santorelli, and Jones. All 3 are capable of posting 30+ points and contributing to the physical grinding game that a playoff series asks for.

Our defense has vastly improved from last season. In acquiring Seidenberg, Phaneuf now has a legitmate partner to help stabilize the backend. Smooth skating Jake Gardiner has a young partner in Kevin Shattenkirk who can absolutely SLAM the puck into the net. Robidas is a solid veteran 2-way defenseman who has a very capble Kris Russell by his side to supply extra offense or block a shot when needed.

Finally, our goaltending. We left the tandem of Bernier-Reimer in tact because Bernier proved last season that he can be impressive despite being behind a horribly designed defensive system. With personnel improvements and small tweaks to his game we should be set. As for Reimer, 2 seasons ago he proved he could carry a team into the playoffs and then carry them along in a series. If anything were to happen to Bernier we are completely behind Reimer and believe he can save us if needed.

Sorry, for the long read. I got really excited typing all of this hahaha

I was out of town... :handclap:

I had to make a last ditch attempt to get under the cap...and would have added a winger....but all in all I'd say the D looks slightly better....and I still have Nurse, Marincin, Saddles and my 1st ;).

Although the Ducks are very disappointed to not be able to complete some more trades we here in Anahiem feel like our roster is deeper and more talented then the one last season which took the Eventual Cup Champs LA Kings to 7 games.

The Hawks are a very good team but we here in Anaheim feel like we have more depth. With shutdown centermen Bergeron and Kesler we believe we have what it takes to help limit the Hawks offense.

Our top six can manage, and but we are more of a four line team than anything, and I am confident we could shutdown the Wings. Our defense is better than the wings and it will be up to the task of providing scoring from the backend and stopping the Wings forwards. In net Bobrovsky is better than Howard at this point and he will give us a better chance ti win every night.
