Cups Final 2011 NHL 7-round mock draft (Expedited Version).

**************************************************************************************

Okay, so we have a month before the big day and I though why not sneak in a quick mock draft. Must have atleast 500 posts to participate as we need to make sure this mock keeps running smoothly. I ask that everyone reads, understands and adheres to the below rules or please do not participate.

This mock will be a little different as trading will be kept to draft picks only and I will ask that everyone who participates send me a list of your top 200 prospects as we will be operating on a 2 hour selection window. Rounds 1 through 3 will be made this way and then we will see the time after that is we can fit it in continuing to make live picks or if I should use the proxy lists to finish off the rest for everyone.

RULES

LIVE PICKS: The window opens at 10 am Eastern Standard Time (7 AM Pacific) and closes at 10 pm Eastern Standard Time (7 PM Pacific) Monday to Friday, we will eliminate the window over weekends as we can all be busy this time of year, so everyone from coast to coast has a fair chance and does not have to wake up in the middle of the night to make a live pick.

ORDER: Mock order will be based on the actual order with Vancouver (30th), Boston (29th), San Jose (28th) and Tampa Bay (27th) rounding out the last four spots.

TRADES: Only draft picks, this years and future draft picks as well, will be traded in this mock as some times GM’s can get carried away tearing apart a team just to get more selections and ruin it for everyone. Plus trades take up a good amount of time and that is something we don’t have.

DRAFT LIST: YOU MUST PM ME A TOP 200 PROXY LIST. If you have not sent in a list you will not be considered an active GM and will be replaced. I will not go to the proxy list until the 2 hour window is closed; there is no consensus picks as I will be making the missed pick from each GM’s list.

Oh and as always please be kind and PM the next GM after you have made your selection.

When is the list of 200 due in? That's a fairly difficult task to complete where there is no template and it basically has to be a flat list.

Could we do a list per round?

A top 200 list is good but we need to have this done in a week or so. Use central scoutings public list as a guide if needed.

Can I please take Phoenix. I don't have over 500 posts but I'm usually on 3 or 4 times a day.And I already have a list of about 100 prospects that I could give you right now.

I'm on a mini vacation starting tonight so I will be around to make my picks 2 and 11 and then will be checking in from time to time....but I won't be providing a top 200 list any time soon. Within a week MAYBE.

EDIT: Not sure if grits207 is eligible to participate..

TRADE VOIDED!!!!

Sorry guys but there has been two issues here.

First grits207 was not confirmed as Toronto GM as I want to have guys who have a history and can prove that they are active.

Secondly, Chicago was already given to chrisralph007 via PM two days ago and I made a mistake and forgot to post it. TheLeastOfTheBunch you are welcome to GM for another team and please accept my sincere apologies.

Lastly, you can go ahead and discuss trades but please do not post them until the roster is filled and we have started the mock.

Again, I am sorry for the confusion but this is the fair way to handle the mistake I made.
