About as pure of a hitter as you can get. He may never hit 30 out (I think he will) but this dudes gonna rake no matter what. He takes what the pitcher gives him and never tries to do too much with it

If you never got to see Boggs bat live, you missed a treat. The guy was so good at fouling off bad pitches to get to one he could rope. He was just a joy to watch at the plate because he was so rare. Throw in a little crazy on top, and he was a real character on a team with quite a few.
