Crosby vs. Carter - who is in a better situation?

Good point about Carter's PP time, I'm not sure how that will work out. As far as offensive defenseman, Pitkanen and Johnsson are pretty good themselves and the flyers PP will be extremely effective.

Carter's wrist shot is absolutely nasty, so i would look for him to get some good time on the PP for Forsberg to feed for shots in the slot. Just looking at our roster, we are really going to depend on him to provide some punch offensively, unless we end up making a trade for a winger (which, at this point, is not something i'm putting past Clarke... Handzus for a scoring line winger?).

Richards may wander out there every once in a while for a PP as well... Dallas used to put Hatcher in front of the net on PP's did they not?

in any event... Carter will get some PP time... a lot of PP time.
