Well, his contract isn't that big. I could see teams having interest at a cap hit of like $3.5M or something, which would put the deal underwater by like $2.5M total.

I'd give you Corey Perry for him & thats about it, pure salary dump from Ducks perspective for a negative value Goalie while Perry still has value. Only reason i'd do it is to dump salary to make a run at Tavares. Perry has only a few years left on his contract, 3 maybe ? Would add a draft pick if its too bad of a deal for the Sens.
