If this is true, then I wish all the best to Mr. Anderson in his Post NHL Playing career. He always struck me as an overachiever and and I found him easy to cheer for as a result.
I remember him going on amazing streaks of play in the Playoffs with the Avs against the Sharks as well as backing the Sens on their lengthy run to Game 7 against the Pens a few years ago.
He showed so much poise and class that Season after his Wife was diagnosed with Cancer. Together as a couple they were (and are) great role models for how sports celebrities conduct themselves in times of crisis.
