So the main list is done but since we got to 15 last year I figured we should try and match that somehow.

Vote for the best 5 players on the poll

2017 Prospect Rankings
#1 - Clayton Keller (46 votes - 60.53%)
#2 - Dylan Strome (default)
#3 - Christian Fischer (52 votes - 92.86%
#4 - Kyle Wood (33 votes - 47.14%)
#5 - Pierre-Olivier Joseph ( 36 votes - 78.26%)
#6 - Nick Merkley (21 votes - 51.2%)
#7 - Brandon Hickey (12 votes - 27.9%)
#8 - Kyle Capobianco (13 votes - 31.7%)
#9 - Mackenzie Entwistle (11 votes - 26.8%)
#10 - Cam Dineen (12 votes - 30%)

For the record I'm using HF's criteria for the poll
*I made an executive decision to exclude Perlini, he was short a few games.

Kind of randomly picked (based on stat lines), but here's my order:
1) Hill
2) Bunting
3) Looke
4) Steenbergen
5) Pederson

If we're taking goalies out of the equation, I'd add MacInnis at #5 and move everyone else up one

In no particular order
Hill
Mac
Schnarr
Steenbergen
Westerlund

I find the Steenbergen pick interesting, I like it.

Surprised to see Hill doing so well. I've never been able to tell one goalie from another. I thought Dustin Tokatski was amazing in Spokane and I thought Al Montoya was the absolute truth for the Wolverines. Both are just backups really. I don't have the foggiest idea of how to even begin evaluating goalies.

I went with the general consensus on forum 40. Most of our posters believe he is different than others we've had, and since i'm admittedly terrible at judging goaltenders and also trust most of you guys more than others in the hockey world, I went with him.

Same here, which is why I listed both options (skaters or skaters and goaltenders). I just slightly more certain that Hill will make it to the NHL versus the some of the skaters who may never make the leap; in fact, I'm thinking Hill might get called up this season before Mishka if (when) there is a goalie injury.

MacInnis - would have had him 7-10th anyway
Westerlund - gotta trust our scouts picking him so high
Steenbergen - puzzled by the lack of interest in this guy
Garland - unfashionable now but still talented
Hoefenmayer - has the chance to kick on next year

#15 - Michael Bunting (Multi)

There was a sizable consensus in 11-14 but it dropped off at 15 for whatever reason.

Solid list but it's gonna get real bleak when Keller and Strome graduate.

As much as I like Joseph, I'm still pissed they passed on Tolvanen. He's got 6 points in 14 shots in his first 3 KHL games.

curious to hear your thoughts on this list now - who isn't on the list that's made a big jump this fall,
and where you think dineen slots in at this point.
