Merkley again, this is where I'd have put perlini. Next for me would be one of macinnis or wood.

There are about 5 guys I could have voted for.

In the end I went for top end skill and creativity. Garland.

I also like MacInnis, Merkley, Wood, Samuelsson, and Dauphin.

Nominate Gaudet.

And just think a couple of years ago we were all crazy in love with Lessio and Brown.......and some even for Gormley.

Considered MacInnis and Wood, went with Wood. Merkley deserves a couple votes too but I think he's an inch or two below MacInnis and Wood

He's about five inches below them ;) but I voted for Merkley last time and did so again.

I voted MacInnis but wow this is getting harder. We have guys left still who may be as good or better then the best in other teams farm systems. Very impressive. Merkley was also a consideration but not as much good info to go off of. This year should answer a lot of questions and we might even see him jump up a few positions but for the moment it's MacInnis for me.

I've actually got a few guys ahead of MacInnis, to be honest. The numbers he put up this year were solid but unspectacular for a center two years after being drafted. He's a smart player, but he still needs to add a lot of strength (I believe he's still under 190 lbs.) and improve his skating. I think he has solid upside as a #3 center down the road, but he's got some work to do to get there.

Probably worth noting that Kithener was a one line team this year. Or at least a team with only three ppg players including MacInnis. London had twice as many, for example. Rangers were a good veteran team but nobody was putting up eye popping numbers there.

MacInnis was dominated at times this season. He had a 21-game point streak at one time.

Garland has skill. Numbers are off the chart.

You have a big advantage over most posters because you actually get to see the players play. It kind of surprises me that Merkley is getting more votes than Garland because of his injuries and lack of production, but I have to admit that Garland was not as impressive as MacInnis at last training camp, but like you said his skill and numbers are off the chart.
