OT: Coyotes jersey number sodoku

Saw an article on this by Down Goes Brown in The Athletic. The premise is to create the best starting lineup (G, 2 D, 3 F) but each number (0 through 9) can only be used once. That means no Martin Hanzal or Goligoski etc. since they have the same numbers twice. Hope you understand it.

Here's what I came up with:

46 Jablonski G

3 Yandle D
27 Numminen D

50 Vermette F
19 Doan F
8 Briere F

I stumbled upon Jablonski by accident. It's a pretty hard exercise. You pick one of our stars and then block out 2 or 3 others.

And aha! Here is the problem. There's not supposed to be any leftover numbers and we only have 6 positions. So if we add Strome that doesn't work because we would have too many people. So:

This is not too bad either. Bush is the only one who really doesn't belong here (to be fair it is still too early to tell) but as a stay at home D he frees up Tverdovsky to join the rush.

A lot of sandpaper in this lineup too. These guys would be fun to watch

I feel as if though Hall and Briere have to be the mainstays, taking up numbers 1, 8, and 9, then it is up to which goalie. As an example, the number 35 has only been worn by goalies here. 10 times the number 35 is worn, 10 goalies.

Also, for a very short time, Briere wore the number 54, so maybe there is an opening to get some different numbers in there.

You are much better than me here, but would it be legal to put in Selanne? He had the number 8 in the original Jets... (edit, nope, 13. Grr.)
