Hopefully he’s a genius! Haha. Might have the hardest job in America. Best of luck to him. He’s going to need it.

Well, this seems positive:

The Official Release said:
Horton joins the Coyotes from the Chicago Bulls (NBA) where he most recently served as the team's Senior Manager of Ticket Sales. Horton joined the Bulls in 2016 and for the past three years, he led his team to a Top 5 ranking in the NBA for group sales revenue. In addition, he helped the Bulls become the No. 1 NBA team in group sales for the 2018-19 season.

...

Prior to joining the Bulls, Horton worked four seasons (2012-2016) with the Spurs Sports & Entertainment Group. In 2015-16, Horton managed an Inside Sales team that helped the San Antonio Spurs (NBA) sell out of season tickets for the first time in franchise history. He also generated close to $2 million in revenue for the Spurs during the 2014-15 NBA season.

I like that he's been successful in two different sports markets (AHL and NBA) in his job. Hoping he can bring those same type of results to the Yotes... they definitely need it haha.

Solid resume for sure. Wonder if there is tread in the move toward the central/east valley. Pick him up and announce an arena deal. Boom.

Driving group sales is great, but also shows that other sales were soft.

Understandable considering the environment.

Good for him that he was successful for the 5 time champion Spurs. The Bulls who were 1 or 2 in attendance for 20 years fell to 11th with this guy after three years. Probably not his fault but he is no savior. Convincing businesses and regular people to buy tickets to this dumpster fire will be almost impossible.

This team is far from a dumpster fire.
