Definitely not the safest idea for the country or the players, but my goodness if this wouldn't be such a fun thing to watch. It would also be really stressful from a relegation battle standpoint.

Overall though just don't do it Prem. Wait this thing out like the rest of the world is going to.
I don’t really know how long people are going to realistically wait this out.

True that, eventually people will just force 'normal society' back on everyone whether it is in the populations best interest or not.

Correct. If you tell billionaires they have to give back or lose money, they'll do whatever it takes to prevent that.

Governments got the billionaires covered.

Will be interesting to see if there will be any conflict between players/coaches versus the owners.

Anyone know where one can find world cup games online?

Nowhere - the tournament hasn't begun.

Arf, arf. Thank you very much, you've been a marvellous audience. Drive safely on your way home (or not, there's a virus doing the rounds).

FIFA TV posted a bunch of famous games from previous tournaments on YouTube - for example the Italy-Brazil classic from 82 at:

Weirdly, they have some character adding commentary retrospectively, which slightly detracts from the occasion because commentators struggle to act at being spontaneous when they really aren't.

If it becomes annoying, you can always turn the sound down.

You can't access from here direct, but you can use what I believe in computer speak is called the 'URL' hyperlinked to the 'Watch on YouTube' text to track it down and go from there.

Appears the Belgian league has cancelled their season and has declared Club Brugge the champions, not sure yet what they will do with the other spots (Euro clubs, pro/rel)

If seasons are cancelled this seems the likely outcome in most cases. There’s precedent for it already no matter how unfair it may seem to teams battling for spots at the end of the day they can only go by what’s already been played. ‘Voiding’ a season makes less sense than using the standings when the league had to suspend.

I agree voiding could be an option when the league has not even reach 50% of game played. Like the MLS for instance.

The FA has made the recommendation to cancel the final matchday and have the season officially end with the current standings. As you said, Club Brugge are champions, AA Gent will go to the CL qualifying round. Charleroi, Antwerp and Standard Liege to the Europa League.

There's yet to be decided what will happen with the Cup Final and the Promotion Playoff Final. Without a Cup Final, 3rd place Charleroi will go to the EL group stage.

There's also a plan to cancel the Promotion Playoff Final, have both teams promote to the 1st division and play out next season with 18 teams and no playoffs (YES please)

So that means Borges and OH Leuven would be up next year?

UEFA and the ECA aren’t happy with the Belgian FA decision to end the season and Ceferin has threatened that Belgian clubs won’t participate in Euro competitions next season

I'd just promote two teams from the championship and have no relegations. Play like the old days of the Prem with 22 clubs and then adjust it for 2021-22.

This will be funny to look back on when they drop the inevitable 60m+ transfer.
