Does Australia still allow international flights? That's the part of the lockdown thing that I think makes it all useless. If you're still going to allow people to come into your country and have no way of making them isolate for 14days...then its just swatting at flies IMO. Our land border with the USA is closed...but flights still continue. I went to Texas in august and had to isolate for 14 days...I did it..but how many others don't?

australia made isolation compulsory, you had to stay in a hotel room for 14 days and they checked. You did a COVID test the day you landed and again on day 10 and a final one on day 14. This included returning citizens, all of this by the way was 100% at your expense.

I think it is not so much of international flights but testing and tracking-14 days.
My cousin went to HK two months ago due to business and she along with everyone on her flight waited 19 hours at the HK airport in order to wait for their test results, then not only did they need to download a tracing app, they were also handed out a bracelet(like the ones in Hospital), and its showed as a sign these people should be isolated for 14 days. The Govt even provided hotel rooms for them to stay. If the medical worker see the bracelet is cutoff when they come to collect it in 14 days, you will be in jail-no questions ask.
Then when she comes back to Vancouver, there is test at arrival and then never heard a word from CDC or the govt or tracers.
Not sure about you, but one City is certainly doing a whole lot more to prevent it from spreading while the other is going with the homie system.
Then you have Australia, this might sound make up but that’s what happened to my friend, she was travelling in the pacific islands during March when every countries started to lockdown. She was stranded on an island outside Fiji or Somoa, so finally when the borders started to reopen, she managed to get into Aus. and awaiting to transfer out to HK, but the moment the govt knew her transfer flight is in 2 days, she was picked up by the police and CDC and sent to one of the govt designated hotel. FYI, the police and CDC were very polite and nice. She even made jokes about having police escort in a good way. I don’t see Canada and the US ever doing that.

Close down nothing. Toronto and Ontario are seen as the bullies they are after that restaurant guy was busted and they stolen his building and closed the doors. The guy has $250,000. Now Politicians need to be made example of. They allow unsafe practices at walmart and Costo and thats ok why. No its not they have a agenda to close the same possible practices in small businesses only why.

They need to be voted out soon as possible. I am officially boycotting big box stores as of today.

Haha f*** them scum
Wayne lloyd is a goof. What a commie that guy from Vancouver is. That’s communism’s man and they have the balls to even mention that and Canada in the same breath. They better back off. I know that I’m getting my hair up
When I first saw that video back in the spring of that Hong Kong girl wearing her bracelet and her dad trying to get away from that video guy, I thought that the Hong Kong government thought up of this idea of this bracelet you had to wear.

But, no, that was not the case. That bracelet did not come from Hong Kong.

That's Canada, eh?

Canada exports communism to China!

Well ...

Umm ... we already have our CERB snitch line ...

Justin Trudeau is a self-professed feminist.

That means Big Mama is already watching us.

Eileen de vills(sp?) and Mayor Tory are the heavy handed abuse of power on display for all to see. Who agrees with what they done changing the locks and illegal seizures and illegally entering a premises. I hope they get sued civilly. They are the types that have been hiding what they really are for far to long. Thats abuse of power. I hope every small business revolts and opens up. I support that now. Couple days ago I didn’t. Funny how I don’t like dictatorships eh.

That guy following them needing a dentist appointment after that would have been the best outcome.

This video was back in Mar, 2020. I think at that time only people from China was allowed into HK. The tension between HKers and Chinese are like Scottish and English. That’s why both sides are constantly trying to trash the other sides.

Lol. What?

There is a massive difference from trusting what is going on, and wandering down a path that is filled with holes and theories.

I have watched a dozen seperate videos, and read tonnes of articles on this subject.

You do realise this is not factual, but a theory.

The world is not planning on taking your possessions. The only tconcept that has ever been discussed, and cast away was the debt forgiveness program.

You would be absolved of all debt if you agreed to lose ownership of your house/car etc.

First, you would need to agree. Second, it isn't happening
What I said is that the rosy glow theory is just as full of holes. Watch it again. They aren't saying debt forgiveness, they are saying "You will own nothing, and you will be happy". That's not full of holes and theory. That's a part of their mission statement, agenda, and mandate. Period. I don't see anywhere where it says you have to agree to this for it to occur. I would hope so. This is something that needs far more scrutiny and transparency. All of it.

Right now one can't even have an alternative viewpoint on the whole "Covid crisis" response it's glaring lack of logic without being shouted down for the most part.

Yet here is something that isn't receiving any airtime. Let's ask why.

So, there was widespread academic fraud and complete fear mongering with regards to HCQ. Remember that this was an incredibly "dangerous" drug, and ineffective, which obviously isn't true....but people spout it like gospel. People want to trust the science, but it really cannot be trusted.

People need to understand that, well, there are agendas being pushed that fly in the face of academia, and worst of all....is being believed without question because CNN said that, and anyone who dares question any of this is dangerous, crazy, or a luddite.

If Canada decides to do a UBI and no other country in the G7 does...we are in serious trouble. We will have a dollar worth about $0.30 to the USD. We cannot print money at will like the USA does..we don't have the reserve currency status to be able to. Nobody wants CAD unless they are buying stuff from us unlike the USD where 60% of all international trade is conducted in USD. We can't do what we're doing and get away with it...its going to get really bad if we go down that road.

Do enough people seriously want UBI? Safety nets are fine, but don’t most people have more pride than wanting a government handout?

The worst part about that was that anyone with 5 minutes of free time and Google could have looked up the company that published the HCQ "study" and found that the CEO was sued for malpractice several times, the marketing director is a pornstar hired off Fiverr, and the LinkedIn/digital presence is an absolute broken mess for a company that's supposed to be big enough to be putting out medical studies that European countries based actual policy on.

Literally any shred of due diligence on this company would have shown that it was obvious fraud. It took something like 6 months for someone to discover this, the Lancet did absolutely 0 fact checking before publishing.

Was there a loud public apology? Were HCQ study bans reversed? Was anyone at all held accountable? I'm willing to bet that if you brought up HCQ somewhere, people would still bring that "study" up.

That's not to say HCQ is a miracle drug or even a viable treatment, but anyone blindly praising Science™ and priding themselves on being an unbiased rational thinker should take a long look at how trustworthy their sources actually are. Academic fraud is incredibly widespread, it's not just Fox News lying to rednecks - you are also the target of disinformation campaigns.

As for the reset portion, companies like Toyota are already pivoting towards the rental model being proposed under the "you don't own anything" idea. You use an app, a self driving Toyota comes to pick you up and then parks at a charging station near your destination to wait for the next fare.

They don't have to take your car, they'll just stop selling them and wait 10 years for most of the cheap garbage on the streets to be undrivable. Why sell a car once when you can make money off each car 24/7/365?

Exactly. Although it is good to have UBI as a fallback(if you can’t find a job) and let’s say that’s the same amount at CERB-900/2 weeks. Is that enough to support yourself and have a life?

Once self driving cars are thing why would you want to own one? What would be the point? The model of one comes and gets you makes wayyyy more sense. This has always been the plan when it comes to self driving cars it’s not new and part of a conspiracy to take your stuff

When reading this tweet from this reporter, I have a feeling it is my kids school and when I send this to other friends, they have the same feeling, and here is the kicker, our kids all go to different schools and we don’t live in the same district/region.

Because I don't want my ability to go wherever I want to go to depend on not violating whatever Toyota decides their terms of service are that day. That or say you're in China and cars stop coming to you because one of your social media posts dropped your social credit score below the threshold.

Why would you not just own a car that gives you the option of manual and autopilot?

I think the point is that it's not enough to live on, but working any job + UBI would enable you to "get ahead" and create more opportunity, economic activity, etc.

Well said. I mean, the evidence is piling up, but people don't want to hear that...and I understand that. But as you so eloquently put it, the wheels are already in motion and have been for quite awhile. It's not borne out of the "Covid crisis", but this pandemic was a required element to fear monger the population into unquestioned obedience along with social conditioning.

It's sad really. Possibly millions of people could have suffered far less were HCQ not subject to the fear mongering and outright lies from the medical academia.

How can anyone trust the science? Because as of today, the science is whatever someone wants it to be. The scientific method has been replaced by agenda specific messaging.

And none of us know exactly what is real and what is not anymore. Censorship is heavy handed and being applied selectively.

I take a lot of road trips. My family is far away. How exactly am I to take a 2500 km drive in an electric car? Or will I now be forced to buy airfare and rent a car when I get there?

Loss of yet another freedom and being forced to spend a lot of money needlessly is being framed as something great for us yet again.
