He's dealing with the most challenging situation any president has had to deal with since all of have been alive. And seems like no leader in the entire world is able to just snap their fingers and have everything be roses again. But yes, facts.

LOL.

Most of the regions closest who ground zero for the virus handled this a bazillion times better than Donny.

He had ample time to prepare for this, The US was just about the last country to get hit by the virus. We knew it was coming, everyone and anyone who knows anything about epidemiology and public health warned about this being a global pandemic, but no, Donny knows best.

Hes doing a poor job of handling a mess that he did an unforgivably awful job of mitigating. No he didn't genetically engineer the virus, but he sure as hell didn't get out in front of it before it became a serious problem.

Yes yes blah blah blah, everything is his fault, he does no right. Preach it to someone who shares your views.

He is doing well with what he has. Approval ratings climbing. Keep up the good work, President.

Come on Crypto, share your views, make your points, stirring up a pissing match about Trump won’t do this place any good.

I get that you have to take a few on the chin and there are many posts in the other direction that you don’t appreciate. But it is what it is, nothing will change by taking this road. :)

The virus was always coming to these shores. It couldn’t be stopped completely. Nobody seriously thinks that. We had the gift of several months notice to prepare. The people we count on to do everything they could to get ready didn’t. There are still some governors that are overriding local shelter in place orders. Right now.

Not only did we not prepare, our government denied it. Ignored it. Got angry about the fact some were talking about it. The people who should be making announcements and pulling the alarm were berated for being truthful.

That is why I am upset. We have never seen anything like this. It requires serious people to do serious things. Instead they threw gas in the fire by saying all the wrong things and sending all the wrong messages.

I can't like a post more than this.

Failure top to bottom. Of course they didn't create this. Of course not. They couldn't anticipate this. Of course not. But once it began in January could they have done more to mitigate it?

HELL YES

If you are suggesting that everything is going to go back to normal with world relations with China as if nothing happened.
You might need to lay off the vodka.

These are numbers that don't lie:

As of today there are 4238 coronavirus cases in Florida and 56 deaths and this is a state that has been very resistant to shutting things down. But Ron DeSantis the governor of Florida is one of his biggest backers so when Ron asks for something he gets everything twice over or 200%.

New York as of today has 59,513 coronavirus cases and 965 dead--when Gov. Cuomo asks for help though he doesn't get 200% of what he asks for like DeSantis gets---he gets 2%.

One would think the help and support should go to where the biggest problem is. Not with Trump though and we're f***ing New Yorkers for the most part here and IMO that's a f***ing middle finger we're getting. It's pretty much saying we can all f*** off and die. He and his administration have pretty much made their point they could give a f*** about us.

Classic fear mongering title. If you actually read it, it explains the 4 cases of reinfection they have identified are likely the result of false negatives or false positives as the tests being used by China are highly unreliable.
I agree the title is a bit misleading. There are several possible explanations. The tests are not accurate. That said it hasn’t been proven quite yet that patients gain immunity once recovered.

There is a pattern of making grandiose statements both in person and online and then walking them back later on when it's not going to be plausible.

I mean if you don't want to be criticized or people poking holes in you, stop making statements that surely open you up for it. It's simple really. Now he is floating theories of theft and a black market.
