Wasn't he on a 2-way deal?

Yes, but in real-life a 2-way deal is different than in the EA Sports NHL series. 2-way vs. 1-way deal is separate from waiver eligibility. It just means that when he's in the AHL, he gets an AHL salary. Players who are 1-way would still earn the same amount if they get buried.

Everything that Anglesmith said. Just to add to it, a player can pass through no problem if the player is on a ELC. Any contract after ELC is fair game for waivers.

Man EA sports really burned the wrong concept of one way and 2 way contracts into people's minds.

Yup!

Also because of the titles which had Thorne commentating I now refer to Matt Stajan as Viktor Stalberg and vice versa. :sarcasm:

that is not always true. some players on their ELCs have to pass through waivers. it's based on age/gp

All this means is that he is healthy enough to be demoted and we all knew he was signed for ADK from the get go.

Adding his offense from the blueline could be a major boon for the Baby Flames
