GM Niece, always a reasonable negotiator, has a sale for you as almost everything is open for discussion. Best of all, when it comes to most roster players, they’re almost all on expiring contracts so it’s you’re call if you want to re-up them (some of these will be worth it to) or just rent them.
Looking for a top 6 scoring winger or just a little scoring depth on the Wing? Worried what will happen in the event of an untimely injury?
[TRADED] Tyler Johnson – Uhmm, I think an 86SC and 86SK with a very reasonable contract is all you need to know to see he fits the bill
Daniel Carr – a good third liner, and nice to have shootout guy (68PS), that can move up in the case of an injury w/ a 74PA, 72SC, 72DF, and 78SK
Looking for that multipurpose tool?
[TRADED] Frans Neilson – Fast two way center rating set, wins face-offs and can be a difference maker in a shootout in addition to being an experienced leader (85FO, 77PA, 75DF, 84SK, 84PS)
Michael Grabner – Good defensive and offensive contributing winger that can skate (89DF, 73SC, and 88SK)
Valterri Filppula – Plays all fwd positions, brings a 83 DF, and 83FO, and an 75SC rating to the table while being a reasonable skater
Need a great defensive forward?
[Trade Pending] Ryan Kesler – 97FO w/ an 85DF and best of all none of the cement shoes so many DF players are cursed with
Need a good defenseman that can keep up with your oppositions top forwards?
[TRADED] Trevor Daley – 81SK w/ 86DF and the PS, EX, and LD levels certainly are added bonuses
Jason Demers – 83SK w/ 75DF and some grit 79CK
Plus other value add players not be overlooked:
Jeff Carter – brings a little of everything for your bottom six or can move up for injury duty (92FO, 71PA & SC, 72DF, 76CK, 79SK)
Cal Clutterbuck – an old school checking defensive winger (86DF and 94CK that doesn’t draw a lot of dumb penalties with an 82DI)
[TRADED] Nic Dowd – He’s that affordable 4th line center & PK specialist you’ve been looking (80DF, 81FO, 77SK)

Seriously, I will likely end up doing a trade or two involving primarily picks for some of the lesser guys on this list but for the better options I’m more interested in usable and emerging players now as my top priority.

- I’m not just selling I’m buying for the future too ... with a glut of good goalie prospects I might be willing to trade one (yes even Hofer) along with a roster player if the deal makes sense
- Only some players are listed above (for readability reasons) but almost everything is open for discussion
- A couple of the players listed will have to wait until after the all-star break before trading
