At least 3 Selkes , 1 cup, 2 Olympic Golds, a World Championship, an World Junior Gold.

If he plays out his contract I can see him eclipsing 900 points.

Maybe not 1st ballot but he's on his way to the Hall if he keeps going the way he has.

Well-deserved. Bergy is one of those guys that, if I were teaching someone to play hockey, I'd tell him "watch what 37 does." As noted, he should've won 4 in a row (and probably more than that), but he's just a phenomenal defensive forward.

Eric Karlsson winning a second Norris is going to make the first NESN broadcast of a B's-Sens game a bit, ahem, interesting.

Quite an accomplishment. We're in an age where there are 30 teams you can actually start to quantify defensive play, and he's just cleaning up with this award. He was right in the conversation for it every year since he returned for a full season in 2009/10, and it's a travesty that this wasn't his 4th straight.

Here's all of the awards, trophies, and accolades he's gotten, chronologically:

2004: IIHF Gold
2005: IIHF U20 Gold (MVP, All-Star Team)
2010: Olympic Gold
2011: Stanley Cup
2012: Selke Trophy
2012: Spengler Cup
2013: King Clancy Memorial Trophy
2014: Olympic Gold
2014: Selke Trophy
2014: NHL Foundation Player Award
2014: NHL 15 Cover Athlete
2015: Selke Trophy

Dude's got a bigger trophy collection than Dinkleberg (i wonder if anyone will get that reference)

This is exactly true. Patrice Bergeron is the perfect example of what a hockey player should be. On and off the ice, Bergeron is everything you want in a superstar. We are lucky to be able to watch him night in and night out. Not flashy, just solid and steady every game.

i noticed too, after he was handed his shoes, he started walking off stage without them. I wonder what his drink of choice was that evening :P

and what time DID Johnny Hockey go to bed? The world must know!
