I was there in 1995 for a Gulls-Admirals playoff game. It was the last IHL game for the Gulls before they moved to Long Beach.

I would say that arena dates from the 1960s.

I would say that arena dates from the 1960s.

It actually was built in 1966, a few years before San Diego mandated that all structures near Interstate 5 be no more than 30 feet tall so people could see the Pacific Ocean, and my God it shows its age.
