Personally, I don't think regulations on our press-box players are necessary. Especially when there is most certainly not 90 quality tenders out there.
They most certainly are necessary, if some of us wasted a pick on fulfilling that part of the league requirements, as stated before the draft.

I have to agree. It was stated when the draft began and all through the draft, why should it change for a couple guys that dont feel it should apply to them? If everyone had the choice between a third goalie or another depth player i think alot of the picks would have turned out different. But since the people that read and followed the instructions followed through they should get put into a different category than others that follow their own rules? Also how did some some people not notice that they took 25 players into their line up instead of 24 ? Does school not teach you to count past 10 anymore?

Same goes with the people that spent half the draft *****ing about their missed picks because they didnt show up on time or didnt check the lists proper. What the hell is wrong with some people? If the list was not updated check back a few pages and see who was recently picked, quit being so lazy and annoying. If you cant handle the stress  of being in a mock draft dont join cause the rest of us dont want to hear the complaining about how unfair it is.

Ahhh feel better after that

It has come to my attention that a few teams have not completely followed the original outline. Apparently some teams have too many forwards, and one less goaltender. Your roster should compile of 14 forwards, 7 defensemen and 3 goaltenders. The teams that need to make these corrections, could you do so accordingly. Thanks

Cheers

Actually...Nick Schultz was dropped because he was never on San Jose to begin with. There was a miscommunication and Belak was a replacement for Schultz's spot on his roster.

I believe that Nick Schultz is a member of the Montreal organization.

F-Jarkko Immonen
Position: C
Shoots: Right

Birthdate: 1982-04-19
Hometown: Rantasalmi, Finland
Stats

2002-03 JYP SM-Liiga 56 10 23 33 34
2003-04 JYP SM-Liiga 52 23 26 49 28

Future/Talent Analysis
A very creative player, Immonen’s hockey sense is at an elite level. He can find an open player almost every time he passes, and consistently finds open space to become a passing option for his team mates. He can read the game very well on both offensive and defensive sides of the puck. Immonen is an awesome playmaker and seldom makes a bad pass. He can stickhandle extremely well at top speed, making him a dangerous player on the rush. Last season, Immonen played PP situations at the blue line and scored some clutch goals with his impressive slap shot. This season, he plays more as a playmaker and favors a quick wrist shot to beat goaltenders in close.
Immonen is great two-way player, who sees spot duty on JYP’s penalty-killing units. While lack of size is a cause for concern, Immonen rarely gets pushed around. He has great game reading ability which helps him avoid getting hit, but he also doesn't shy away from contact and doesn't fade out in games when the opposition is clearly trying to rough him up. Immonen also possesses top notch faceoff skills. He’s one of the best face-off men in Finland and is always on the ice taking draws when it matters most.
He’s ready for North American hockey and should he come over, he could become a darkhorse Calder candidate.

Talent Analysis/Future:
CSS: Although not quick off the mark, is strong and well-balanced on his skates... seldom gets knocked off the puck, especially when occupying space in front of the net or battling for loose pucks in the corners... more of a goal-scorer than a playmaker... an opportunistic player with a good finishing touch... is effective when driving to the net from either wing... generates scoring chances by winning battles for rebounds in front of the net... possesses a good shot... plays on the power play... sometimes lacks consistency but when he is at his best, he can be very effective... plays a physical style and with grit when he is on his game... anticipates well no the forecheck... protects the puck with his body when setting up in the offensive zone... wins a lot of battles for loose pucks in all areas of the ice... finishes checks with authority... does not back away from a challenge...

D-Ole Kristian Tollefsen
Position: D
Shoots: Left
Height: 6-2
Weight: 200
Born: Mar 29, 1984 in Oslo, Norway

2004-05 Syracuse Crunch AHL 57 0 3 3 104
Talent Analysis/Future:
Stay at home defenseman. A gentle skater with a smart stay at home technique. Wicked bodychecker.
In terms of future potential, Tollefsen has the tools to be a Top 4 defenseman, and a 5th or 6th in a worst case scenerio. He has good size and grit, but like most physical defensemen, his skating could be improved.

G-David Leneavu
Position: G

2004-05 Utah AHL 48 132 2.93 11 32 - 0

Talent Analysis/Future:
LeNeveu is a very strong skater that exhibits good balance and athleticism. He is very quick, especially with his glove hand. Opposite the glove, he is an average stickhandler. He moves well from side to side and is good at covering angles. He has excellent vision and is a very patient netminder. He uses is size to his advantage and covers a lot of ground. He is very consistent and is a great positional goaltender. He reads plays and understands the flow of the game very well. He knows where to set up his defensemen on breakout situations.
LeNeveu has raw talent and great ability to succeed. He is a very intense player and has the drive to succeed and move up in the system. He carries himself very well and remains mentally prepared at all times.
Despite a difficult year, LeNeveu is still looked upon as an elite prospect. He is very solid technically and has the talent to be a starter at the NHL level someday. He’s expected to return as a starting goaltender in the AHL for the 2005-06 season
