  • The current 2.12 HH avg. on FOX Sports Sun puts the Bolts on pace to shatter last season’s 25-year record high of 1.83 HH avg. 2018-19 could very well once again be the NEW most-watched season of #GoBolts hockey in team history.
  • #LightningTVRatings: December 2018 (2.36 HH avg.) finished as the highest rated month of #GoBolts hockey in team history on FOX Sports Sun.
  • It surpassed January 2018 (2.21 HH) and January 2013 (2.21 HH) for the most-watched crown.
  • #LightningTVRatings: The Lightning vs. Toronto Maple Leafs game on Thursday, Dec. 13 was the most watched regular season #GoBolts game EVER on FOX Sports Sun (3.04 HH).
  • It edged out a Lightning vs. Chicago Blackhawks game on Jan. 21, 2016 (3.03 HH) to set a new high mark.
  • #LightningTVRatings: he Lightning vs. Maple Leafs game on Thursday, Jan. 17 marked the fifth time the #GoBolts have averaged a 3.0 HH rating or higher this season.
  • For perspective, the last regular season Lightning game to register a 3.0 HH or higher before this season was the aforementioned meeting vs. the Blackhawks in 2016. It was the only game to reach the 3.0 HH mark that season.

He knows what he is doing more with hedge funds I’d imagine he wants cash he sold his stake with the Red Sox. Water street is taking a ton of time and a ton of money going to take 5-10 years to really get the project done.
Water Street won't really be finished. They'll pretty much always need to be on the lookout for good tenants, and buildings will come and go over the decades. Of course, it should be self-sustaining financially well before then.

The impression that I get is that Mr. Vinik has set it up so that he's not really all that involved at this point with Water Street. He's got the experts to pick the experts. There's way too much on the line for a rando to be directing it.

The developer of Water Street Tampa on Wednesday released more details on a residential tower within the urban district — one that it says will appeal to "price-conscious" renters.
Strategic Property Partners, controlled by Tampa Bay Lightning owner Jeff Vinik and Cascade Investment LLC, said 1010 Water Street will include 481 apartments and 32,000 square feet of street-level retail space at the southwest corner of Water Street and Cumberland Avenue. The target demographic, SPP said, is "younger" and "more active."

Those 3 games - - - 4-3 OT win vs NYR, 4-1 Loss to Boston, & 5-1 Win vs Ottawa. Not the greatest hockey.

why glasses?

Wearing a Stammer sweater looks a bit amateurish for the Lightning organization. Maybe an "E. BUNNY #0" jersey. You could put EASTER BUNNY on the back, but E. Bunny fits hockey convention a bit more.

Rich and Ron Sutter did have their full names on their backs although this is pretty obscure.

In the Thunderbug Mascotic Universe, any non-usable number should be up for grabs. Bug has 00, but 0 (which looks like an Easter egg), 01, 02, 100, etc.

That guy is looking for clicks and attention... it’s working.

He's just an idiot. The Rose Garden or whatever it's called these days is just as old as Amalie Arena. Plus we can all but guarantee the idiot hasn't seen any of our tens of millions of dollars worth of renovations to Amalie that's basically gonna keep it humming another 20 years before we inevitably have to replace it and move out to (I'm guessing) nearby the site of the Expo Hall at the Fairgrounds. But hey... that's 2040 problems

Haters gonna hate. We'll keep getting our venues and we'll sell them out

I don't think we can really project the future site of the next Lightning home arena. Based on the current trends, it'd be downtown. The teams with the attendance problems are in the suburbs.

If I had to take a guess, the convention center is around the same age as Amalie and has a large enough footprint. They could basically keep flipping sites as the arena could maybe be converted into a convention center. The large surface parking lots and surrounding blocks by the port are also prime areas to be developed sometime over the next few decades.
