Maybe just me but Eller=Dainius Zubrus

Zubrus was part of a big trade, everyone expect him to be the big centre Mtl is missing, similar to Eller.

Off the top of my head so... I tried.

I like the bolded ones. At first I was unsure about the Gallagher – Lemieux comparison but after a while, I liked it!

Mine are:

Eller: Bulis
Desharnais: between Stéphane Lebeau and Saku Koivu
Galchenyuk: Kjell Dahlin
Subban : Chelios
Gorges: smaller version of Rick Green?
Bourque: Latendresse
Prust: Scott Thornton
Diaz: Svoboda
Pacioretty: Bellows/Zednick

Finding one for Plekanec is hard!

The way I remember it, Perrault’s main defensive contribution was winning faceoffs; a lot of them. He was not a good two ways player... was he? I also remember him as an average/slow skater.

Sorry... I don’t like this comparison! :)

Perreault was nothing like Plekanec except for the fact that they were centers.

Perrault was all offense + faceoffs. Plekanec is a two way player, and so much faster than Perreault.

How about

Plekanec - Henri Richard?

I agree, Plekanec vs Perrault is a rather poor comparison.

Henri Richard? Maybe. But I like the Jacques Lemaire comparison better.
