Coming to Denver

Pardon me if this is the wrong place to ask.

I'm coming to Denver for business for 10 days in January. I'll be staying in a loft in "Lodo" (whatever that means) and want to know if that's a good area, any good bars and restaurants around, and of course I'll be attending an Avs game so any tips on that.

I like beer, good food, and of course I'll venture outdoors to enjoy your city, but I'm looking for more fun suggestions to do in the evenings.

Lodo is Lower Downtown. It can be very Bro-ey, especially on the weekends. You shouldn't have any problem finding bars around that area.

Maybe time for long time thread we had for this to be bumped up or stickied?

Lodo is right in the center of downtown Denver. Tons of night life there, you won't have any problem finding things to do. Denver's got a ton of breweries too, although I'm only really familiar with the ones around where I live up north in Boulder. It's also a stone's throw away from the Pepsi Center. Best way to get game tickets is to download the Flash Seats app and shop around there, it's the official marketplace for the team so no ripoffs there.
