On his 31 thoughts podcast Friedman reports Columbus doesn't see Domi as a fit in the organisation and has begun shopping him

If he's moved where is the best fit for him?

Columbus has tried in the past to acquire Kerfoot, namely last off season when the report came out of a potential Kerfoot/Savard deal turned down by Dubas.

Could something around Domi and Kerfoot be a fit?

What's his value right now? He's not even going to be healthy to start the year, right?

Domi has to be one of the biggest wild cards in the league right now.
Is he a 25+ goal, 60+ point center?
Is he a 35 point winger?
Is he an undisciplined distraction with injury issues?
Is he a tough-as-nails heart-and-soul guy?
Does he still have another level he could hit?
Is he already past his prime?

I'd expect the Jackets are fine retaining if they can get some real futures for him.

Why not just keep the guy until he’s healthy and move him at the TDL as a rental for a first round pick?

Do you want your team to give up a 1st rounder for him?

He's not a gritty heart and soul type. People see him in scrums and think he's gritty but he only engages when the other guy isn't looking or isn't willing.

I like his game, but it’d be tough for Toronto to trade for him cap-wise.

Kerfoot + Engvall + solid prospect
for
Domi with minor retention (~$1 mil retained? Whatever we’d need to make the cap work)

The question would be which solid prospect. Liljegren? That might be a bit too much for 1 year of Domi, though.
