thread title says it all.

they've given up 11 goals in the last 10 games.

the fact that this team has 69 points (6th best in the league) while going thru so many injuries this season and losing Bob, Panarin, and Dutchy in the off season is mind blowing. Love him/hate him, Torts is thriving.

and Elvis. oh, Elvis.

Why is days more relevant than the games played?

They've gotten the goaltending. You wouldn't expect them to be 2nd in goals against after losing Bob.

Still think they’ll miss the playoffs. They’re a so so team riding insane goaltending. The one thing that could get them in is if both Florida and Philly return to their miserable defense and goaltending they had the first 3 months of the season

Merzlikins deserves some Calder consideration.
Is he eligible? He turns 26 in April and I thought there was an age limit.

Edit: I think he would be as he turns 26 in mid-April and reg season ends early April.

They have goaltending and defense. Let's not kid ourselves, Columbus D was and still is elite. The biggest reason you thought they would drop is their lack of offense.

Too bad they don't really have the assets to get anyone say Hall, Kreider or Granlund.

Or the Metro appeal to retain a talent like Panarin.

Even with a good blue line, you still need a goalie. Merzlikins has been elite. Who saw that coming?

I mean, we do have the assets to get a winger... but we don't need a rental winger.

So when Korpi (who made the all star team right before he was injured) comes back does he return as the starter?
