Spring in Fialta
A malign star kept him
Montreal's a dumb franchise but I can't imagine that they'd really be so dumb as to sit him game 1.
Remember everyone whining about how Timmins should be fired because he took “the smurf”?
Lmao
What ? I really don't remember that at all. Rather, I think the majority were psyched?!?

there were a handful of people going against the grain, but for the most part you’re right
they mostly showed up when Caufield didn’t tear the WJC apart
I genuinely don't know that many posters that said this besides trollsRemember everyone whining about how Timmins should be fired because he took “the smurf”?

IMO you sit Byron
Same.....Armia can go in beast mode, Tatar is in constant float mode..Armia plays a heavy playoff style game - I'd take him over Tatar.
And the RussianRemember everyone whining about how Timmins should be fired because he took “the smurf”?

the russian in the 2nd round no one knows about instead of a gars de chez nous was a classic. And the Russian
We need his speed. Armia/Tatar should be scratched but Ducharme will scratch Caufield because hes the rookie.IMO you sit Byron
I have no troubles admitting I had my doubts 1 year after the draft. There's no question Caufield underachieved a little bit the year after his draft and in the WJC. But he more than made up for it this season.
but yeah at the time of the draft I think the majority were happy including me.

Hate to break it to you but I think you should work on your imaginative skills then...Montreal's a dumb franchise but I can't imagine that they'd really be so dumb as to sit him game 1.
Unfortunate that after the first few games, we haven't really been able to see Caufield in action at 5v4 since we barely got powerplays and in the ones we got we had a lot of difficulties setting up in the o-zone.
Not a chance
