No penalty on this one, almost looked like it was intentional.
Looks like a left
Because when the right hook comes out crazy mother****ers get knocked out.
Don't be looking me in the eye, boy, I ain't got no candy. NO CANDY except for the right hook.
I mean, it's hard to believe it's intentional, but it's not like the ref suddenly appeared out of nowhere.... not a good look for Mcleod.
"What the ****, Cody!?"
As a NYR fan, please suspend him for the rest of the season so Quinn cant play him.
So ridiculous that this wasn't a penalty. What a terribly reffed game. It was almost as good as McLeod running around cross-checking people and trying to fight someone and then when someone goes to fight him, the Isles get a penalty for unsportsmanlike for dropping one glove. Or the awesome delay of game penalty on Komarov.
It was bad both ways, but those were three completely garbage calls/non-calls.
haha im ded @ Buchnevich in the background.
Maybe from so close, for a split second, his pea-brain calculated it was one of Martin’s teammates getting in the way?
It appears to me that McLeod is .............
Clearly wasn't intentional.
I have to give the refs props. They don't protect the players but at least they're consistent and don't protect the linesmen either.
Lol, he knocked their heads together like Moe...
That's a suspension for sure.
I can't see how that isn't a suspension. You can't touch the refs accident or not. It'll be interesting to see what the follow-up to this is.
Probably not intentional but you can't do that
Just above your post, on the right, "Thread Tools". Put your cursor over that and the "Edit Title" option will appear.
Looks totally intentional. McLeod is just so non chalant about the outcome, it has to be.
My guess is he is using the linesman's head to hit Martin. Full marks for creativity, but I think it's generally not a good idea. He should have talked to Wideman about it beforehand.
I have to say that when I clicked this topic, I was not expecting to see this quote.
I am going to watch this show tonight.
I'm not sure how anyone can watch that GIF and say with a straight face that it didn't look intentional. I'd be shocked if the league didn't suspend him.
lol that's as intentional as it can get.
edit: he literally stares at the ref and then hits him. Not with his right hand, but with his left, that has no change hitting the opposing player.
So why hasn’t the league said anything anout it yet? This happened last night
100% intentional and it's impossible to argue otherwise.
He looked angry that the linesman was protecting the other guy, so he punched him (the ref). Showed zero remorse for it, as if to show it wasn't an accident.
Wow, that looked worse than I expected.
Separate names with a comma.
