He's one of the worst players in this league. 6th round pick would be a robbery.

f*** man just give it a rest. Your takes are so obnoxious some times. They just reek of HF meme narratives. He's a 24 year old RHD that can play in the top 4. 6th round pick. OK.

I feel that I have criticized Ceci a bit unfairly in the past. He played some really tough minutes on an awful team. Yes he did have horrid possession numbers, but I think he could be a playable #4/good #5 dude. Compared to a guy like Ristolainen, who didn’t play nearly as tough minutes and still got pretty much run over.

I'd prefer Ottawa kept Ceci and overplayed him. Helps the Avs out.

He's a top 4 on a terrible team. Dude has no business being anything other than a bottom pairing D on any other team.

He would be top pairing on the Leafs.

No he wouldnt, as an ottawa fan I just want him off the team, he is terrible at everything. A fresh start on a new team might push him in the right direction but thinks and sees the game 2 seconds behind all other players, hes close to cowen level of suckage.

RD. Him or Hainsey on the top pairing...hmmmmm

Right now Toronto's most used D pair at ES is Gardiner-Zaitsev, not Rielly-Hainsey.

Toronto doesn't really have a first or second pair right now. But Hainsey is their 4th most used D-man.

I disagree...whatever pairing Rielly is on is your 1st pairing. Maybe not by the ES TOI metric, but in general.

Hey, I consider your first pair the one you play more. Or the one that faces tougher defensive responsibilities (both pairs face similar competition, but Gardiner-Zaitsev get more D-zone starts.

You might have a point though, Ceci might supplant Hainsey as their 4th most used D-man. I have my doubts, but its certainly possible.

post trades from ANY team, tell me what you’d offer

I was about to post this haha. Good thing I checked.

Unfortunate we didn’t trade him when everyone thought he was going to be damn good, I don’t think we can get much for him.

I don’t even know an offer tbh. Decent prospect at highest and a low 2nd?

Edit: I do think on a new team it’s possible he can bounce back a bit and enjoy new scenery.
