Value of: Cody Ceci

I always see Sens fans rag on this guy, but I'm not really that sure why -- he always seems like a decent-enough middle-pairing guy whenever I watch him. Is it just that he's put into situations where he can't really thrive?

Anyway, for teams weaker on RD, might they have interest in Ceci, as one of Ottawa's older defenders? And would Ottawa have interest in dealing him?

I think it would take more than 95% of HF posters assume it would, so if anything a Ceci trade might be entertaining.

I could see them selling him for cheap in a year and a half when he's due for his next raise though, seems to be the Sens MO.

I think the flyers would be interested. Their Defence is a wreck (highest EV GA in the first 4/5 games in like 25 some years).

There are 2 issues here:

1) He is bad
2) Ott thinks he is a god, already turning down deals for both Hall and Drouin for him.

So its best to just leave that one be.
