As much as we all complain, there's something to admire about an organization that treats players like people and gives them a sense of value.


I'd love to see Danny get a gig as an assistant coach in GR, and see him work his way up in the organization.

He pretty much is already one in GR. I think he will officially be one of the Griffins assistants next season. Bruce Ramsay (I think) will be looking for a head coaching job in the AHL or ECHL next season and Mike Knuble might move up to Detroit (or another NHL team) to be an assistant coach. Will see.

Guy certainly lives and breaths hockey and his career is an awesome story but its hard to look past his tarnished legacy. Guy was a big part of what has been wrong with this team the last 5 or 6 seasons. The poster child in fact, not that its his fault personally, its on Holland and Babcock mostly, but his mug is a reminder of those times that led us here.

Not sure what he wants to do whether it be on the ice or in the front office,but I'd love to see him stay within the organization. He seems more like an on ice type of guy to me and he is surely respected by former teammates older and younger than him. That speaks volumes to me.
