Good move here for Washington. Hogan should be a somewhat decent mid level backup for the Redskins.

As a Redskins fan, this move is nothing more than a new clipboard holder for when Colt McCoy's contract expires at the end of the 2018 season. If Hogan gets in any game time in Washington, it's either because the Redskins have clinched a playoff spot and they're resting the regulars or there's been a major injury and they're in a lot of trouble. I suspect that once the draft is over, Luke Falk or Kyle Lauletta will be a Redskin.
