I get the feeling that because of the lockout, the class of 2004 is not drawing much discussing on this board.

I have completed a top 40 list.

But would also be interested in seeing how the rest of you rate the top 40 drafted in 2004.

Mine will be posted soon, as I know that if I post mine, It will draw comments but not lists.

Looking forward to your feedback

Isn't Voloshenko slow? A guy like Pierre Dagenais can get big numbers in the AHL.... but that didsn't translate to the NHL....

And by the way, no Soderberg either? According to what I read, even if his team is in the tier-2, he might now be included in the first round.

Guess Not

However at this point, Dubnyk is higher than Schneider and he's only 22

This is the biggest myth of all. Voloshenko worked hard on correcting his skating and he's doing a fine job in the AHL. He isn't fast by any means but he isn't slow like they said he was.

No Campoli? I know he is two years older, but will all the Dmen drafted in the first round become 40 points scorers like Campoli will probably be?

Korpikoski would be 18th and Nokelainen 15th if I had to squeeze them in to that list

I think at the WJC and in the AHL this year Tukonen has proven he should of been a top 5 pick where he was posted to go. He was tied for 2nd in scoring in WJC but it didn't give him once of his goals and assists which would of made him #1.... In AHL hasn't had the greatest numbers but respectable ones and really timely goals.
