How did Pogba even miss that. Like it seems more difficult to miss the target than hit it from there.

And he wasn't even actually offside, though it was called. The corner found Fellaini's head spot on.

    Rojo is really bad.

    Fred also sucks.

I realize United have no real pressure in this game and it wouldn't be the first time they've mailed it in in such a game in UCL but still.... I almost feel sorry for Mata who is doing his best out there.

Lyon should have scored 3 or 4 now. All offensive players are ****ting the bed with the last shot. Incredible.
Shaktar have shot once towards the goal. They're up 1-0 at halftime and are virtually through.

If Lyon wins this game, they could top the group.

De Ligt and de Jong both with horrible games.

Ajax might’ve been the better side, though it’s trailing 0-1.

That was good. The past weekend at Stamford bridge he was beyond useless.

That’s true but he was one of the most obvious to be subbed early.

Ahh yes, Ashley Young. Exactly what we needed in this game.

    Really good sub Mourinho.

In no way should we have subbed one of the 5 midfielders on the pitch.

And this is why Phil Jones should never play a game for United.

If Valencia were not in complete shambles they could've easily taken Manu's spot.

United have got to be the worst team to advance past the group stages in a long time. Outside of the opening game against Young Boys they've been horrendous.

Phil Jones is the new Jonny Evans when it comes to own goals.

One way traffic still in Donetsk where Lyon is totally dominating. Still only one shot by Shaktar. Lyon scored an offside goal. Still 1-0 Donetsk.

Genesio is finally getting his **** together and is putting Lyon's best player on the pitch.

Valencia lucky to not be off for the second time.

That's a pretty easy yellow for a tactical foul.

Good header by rashford. Be nice if he could get back in form/confidence.

Mata almost made the end of the game actually interesting.

Had time to pull that down and slot it in, but rushed it. Although it's hard not to rush in that spot.

Such a Mourinho result. If they would have won, they'd top the group and actually have a chance to move on from R16. Instead they threw out a terrible lineup, played horrible, and got beat.

Don't worry, United will have the easiest group winner I'm sure.

Lyon is through. They made their own life so difficult with late goals because of lack of concentration.
There is a huge lack of maturity on this team, but their talent level can be insane, especially offensively : Dembele, Depay, Traore, Fekir, Aouar and Ndombele.

They should have won this group clearly. Two wins against Hoffenheim and that late goal by City. 6 points gifted.
