If we could somehow get rid of Sobotka and replace him with Wilson (and Smith) on the Sabres roster, I think we'd be a much better team.Surprised it's Smith. Hopefully that means another move in the near future if/when Wilson gets called back.
I agree, now waive Pommers and call up Olofsson.Would be nice if management was in front of common sense not lagging behind the obvious until its nearly too late
Now lets see if Phil can handle it..
Pominville has been one of the more useful players recently. He can’t play a fourth line grind, but he can finish if someone sets him upI agree, now waive Pommers and call up Olofsson.

Put Poms with Eichel, Erod replaces SobotkaIs this too much to ask for with Smith on the roster? I struggle to find a more defensively capable checking line, unless Wilson can replace Sobotka eventually...idk...
Skinner-Eichel-Rodrigues
Smith-Sobotka-Reinhart
Sheary-Mittelstadt-Thompson
Girgensons-Larsson-Okposo
Scratch Pominville
Waive Sobotka now
Possibly a 5th should be done nowI'd like to think that he has some value around the league. I bet we could get a pick for him. Not sure what pick, but I'm sure it's being explored.

Botts is a machine! Bring on the playoffs!
JWhite ripped him a new one this morning for waiting so long to do something.
I don't see swapping CJ Smith for Elie as something that's going to change the course of the season. Yeah, CJS is a better hockey player than Elie......but he's not going to magically change things and drive us to a playoff berth.
