I am really puzzled as to how Stewart has gone from a player who scored 28 goals two seasons in a row (the 2nd time he did in only 62 games), now to find himself on pace for less than 10 this year. Last year, the Blues fans were happy to see him go and this year it seems Sabres fans wouldn't mind seeing him go either. What happened to him? The way he's playing currently you would think he might be done being a 25-goal scorer.

Or is there hope? I'm thinking in he right environment he could still produce. He's a UFA after this season. If Buffalo doesn't trade him for some reason, a team will probably take a flier on him next year for cheap. Unless the Oilers give him a Pouloit-type contract. Does he turn his career around or is he going down the Cheechoo path?
