I couldnt find any player discussions on phillips who I think is the worst player on this team, yet guys like smith and greening get ripped on.

I think its time we let phillips go or at the very least take him off his permanent roster spot

Phillips is terrible and has been for the past 3 years. We should have traded this guy when we had a chance to the Habs a couple of years ago.

Phillips is okay in a limited role. We dont have any upgrades ready to replace him and he still has a few good years in him.

Phillips and good shouldn't be in the same sentence anymore. He's good if he plays limited minutes, maybe. But not when he plays 20+ minutes and is on the PP.

I agree with this. Gryba thrives on extra minutes. He was at his most effective last season when getting 20 plus unprotected minutes nightly. Phillips isn't up to top four minutes at this stage in his career.
