Jocktan seems to be staring the season well
3 assists in 5 games. A +5.

There are 2 other D-man with 3 points. McIsaac who turns 18 in March, and Justin Barron who is still only 15.

Young up front too, leading scorer is still 17. A bunch of 17 yr old kids at the top of their stat board.

Mikhail Maltsev has been playing for SKA St. Petersburg - he's only playing 7 minutes a game, but it's a step up from the VHL and MHL.

Mostly getting 4th line minutes...still struggling with face-offs at the professional level...although I don't have much concern with his ability to fix that. He was getting 2nd line minutes for a few games, so it's promising having Maltsev be the long-term project.

Yegor Rykov was on the 2nd defensive pairing for SKA today, which is a big step in his development...not sure how long it'll last, but it's nice to see regardless

Seems like he gets a good amount of shots per game.

That was basically a run-back of his last goal

Love his shot and his potential. He's still young so those red flags can go away with some attitude adjustment and man oh man what a player he could be if he worked on that.

How about Sissons' start to the season? Nine points in six games.

Granted it looks like his team is stacked. Some player named Tyler Steenbergen has 13 goals in six games.

Or he plays a lot on a horrible team. Both of which are true. Could be floating obviously but that team is garbage.

It almost certainly is a mix of both. That team is awful, but we have reports he is floating too. That sadly fits his MO.

He was always going to be a project pick, so worth being patient.
