CHL players of the year

John Tavares -player of the year
Patrick Kane -best scorer, best rookie, best NHL prospect
Kris Russell -best defensemen
Carey Price -best goalie
Alex Picard -Hooper -scholastic
Desharnais -Sprotmanship


Quite surprising that Tavares wins the award at the tender age of 16! Seems like he might be able to live up to the hype after all. Can't believe that Russell got the the top defensemen award over Letang or even Staal.

Staal had a bit of a slow start, and overall had a slightly sub-par season for him save the playoffs so I don't find it hard to believe Russell won it, as he was a tank.

surprised kane didn't win player of the year. I think he was better than tavares.
