For some reason, the Canes are 100% on bringing back Darling. We don't need (or probably even want) Anisimov. So only the 2nd is really an asset here...and it's not much.

Totally wrong kind of offer. Think the Canes are looking for a Faulk for "top-4 LHD" deal.

Do Canes really need LHD, if you have Slavin-Bean-Fleury to build around?

Do you think Carolina wants to bring Darling back? I don't. Ultimately, I don't think they make a deal for Faulk since Chicago does not have the right type of pieces to trade. Once teams miss in free agency they'll come to Carolina and overpay. I definitely don't want Chicago to overpay (Saad, 2019 1st, Schamltz, 'Cat, Jokiharju) for Faulk since he's not worth it.

Is Bean ready?

Is Fleury or Bean ready for top-4 minutes?

I wouldn't want to wager on either.

I don't know. If you aren't sure, trade Faulk for DeKeyser+.

Red Wings would lovely do it to get RhD in each pair.

Daley - Green
Ericsson - Faulk
Kronwall - Jensen
(7th)

Slavin - Hamilton
DeKeyser - Pesce
Bean/Fleury - TvR/McKeown
